Raised in Charleston, Marissa developed a passion for design inspired by the city’s unique blend of history and modern style. She brings an eye for detail and a talent for blending traditional elements with a fresh, coastal flair to every project.

When she’s not immersed in fabric and wallpaper samples, Marissa enjoys boating with her boyfriend Carson and their black lab, Goose, exploring Charleston’s vibrant restaurant scene with friends, traveling, or relaxing with family.

Originally from Louisiana, Marissa Alexander has happily made Charleston home and loves everything the Lowcountry has to offer. As Project Development Coordinator at Kate Miles Design, Marissa helps guide new clients through the onboarding process and supports the design team throughout each project, wherever she’s needed.

In addition to her work with clients and design projects, Marissa plays an important role in the creative side of the Kate Miles Design brand, assisting with marketing, website development, and overall brand growth. Her versatility, organization, and enthusiasm make her an integral part of the team.

Grayson Lutz is the Store Manager at Kate Miles Design, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop and creating a welcoming, inspiring experience for every customer who walks through the door. From helping clients find the perfect piece to assisting with visual merchandising and buying, Grayson brings a thoughtful eye and personal touch to every aspect of the store.

Beyond the shop, Grayson also works alongside the design team to accessorize clients’ homes, helping bring the finishing layers and details of a space together. A proud University of South Carolina alum, Grayson is happy to call Charleston home and loves being part of its vibrant design community.
